Beirut - March Of The Zapotec/Realpeople Holland

"After the widely acclaimed 2007 album The Flying Club Cup, which hit many album of the year lists including the NME, Uncut, Q, The Sun and The Telegraph, the extremely talented young songwriter and musician Zach Condon returns with his third record under the guise of Beirut. The full-length album entitled March Of The Zapotec is comprised of two EPs. The first, and album namesake, is a foray into Mexican folk music with the help of an obscure small-town Mexican funeral band. The second is Holland, a bedroom electro-synth pop wonder, originally an idea for Zach s previous incarnation before Beirut, when he went by the name of Realpeople"

Roddy Walston and The Business is a Baltimore, Md.-based rock band playing melodic, often upbeat and catchy songs influenced by the Southern rock tradition and featuring accomplished lyrics and musicianship. Their songs are often piano-driven and also feature strong guitar solos. The band moved to Baltimore from Tennessee."

Meneguar - I Was Born at Night

"Meneguar (pronounced MEN-EGG-WHAR) is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, NY, that started in the winter of 2004. After years of playing together in other projects, such as Sheryl's Magnetic Aura, which has an abundance of recordings dating back a number of years, Christian Deroeck, Jeremy Earl, Justin Wertz and Jarvis Taveniere, as Meneguar, released their demo on Fuck It Tapes in late 2004. They then moved into a small house in Bushwick and began work on what would eventually become I Was Born at Night."

Teenage Cool Kids - Queer Salutations

"Teenage Cool Kids are a band from Denton, TX, specifically the thriving beatnik vicinity of Panhandle Heights. The quartet blends nihilistic lyrics about the detachment of college town life with catchy hooks and triumphant choruses. Rumor has it that their latest album, Queer Salutations, was written to sync up with an episode of My So Called Life. " Their new CD "Foreign Lands" comes out on February 19th.

The Moondoggies - Don't Be a Stranger

"The Moondoggies are a four-piece band from Seattle that plays timeless American music. Warm three-part harmonies, gothic Rhodes organ, and wanderlust guitar mark a sound rooted in boogie blues and cosmic country; whip-smart songwriting leads to hook-heavy tunes that bristle with originality."
Moondoggies are an underrated band, a band that plays heart wrenching blues and are the epitome of what bands SHOULD be like these days.

The Mommyheads - The Mommyheads S/T

"The Mommyheads were an American indie pop band who played from around 1987 through 1998. Starting in New York City as the brainchild of singer Adam Cohen (name later changed to Adam Elk), the band produced a string of quirky and highly inventive releases on various independent labels - most notably Simple Machines."
The Mommyheads have reunited to release their 2008 album, "You're Not a Dream," Though their new release can't even begin to rival their older albums, though not often does the reuniting of a once good band result in something equally as good, I mean.. unless you're Mötley Crüe.

These United States - A Picture of the Three of Us at the Gate to the Garden of Eden

"These United States is the songs of Jesse Elliott, flipped, forged, phased, and fermented; stolen, re-taken, elongated and elevated, beaten and bruised, occasionally imbued, by an ever-battling band of music-mad robber-barons, enthused aesthetic thieves of the long and winding subway tunnels and underground railroads of our cacophonous nation."
A real folk/indie sounding band, one of my favorites though their newer stuff couldn't compare to A picture of The Three of Us.

Introducing the two

We are two people that enjoy music. We have both lived short lives, one at 17, the other, 18. Both of these two live in two separate states, Arizona, and New Jersey. This is not a blog, more so a list of everything we enjoy and our feelings on said things. We do not care how you feel about said things, nor will we ever.
